Fledermauser is a turbine + battery electric VTOL aircraft.
Fledermauser primary features include: turbine and battery power generation and distribution; patent pending fixed wings with embedded ducted rotors and trailing edge flaperons for Vertical Takeoff and Landing (VTOL), Short Takeoff and Landing (STOL) and conventional flight; and a patent pending rugged box-wing and fuselage configuration.
Fledermauser performance provides speed, access, and survivability in a small VTOL platform; for existing and emerging missions for which runways or helicopters are not available or feasible.
Fledermauser is scalable. Performance and missions have been designed and analyzed for aircraft incorporating 6”, 9” and 12” ducted rotors.
Fledermauser is a real aircraft design with multiple integrated features filed within a single utility patent, with the intent to develop and produce an aircraft offering unique and improved performance for military and commercial missions.
