Pan Spatial was spawned in 1989 as a fictional brand name for aerospace concept design work by Tom Alfaro.  Inspired by the high-quality science fiction of the 1980s and informed by real-world experience in the military, the ‘Pan Spatial’ continued to grow in creative and technical sophistication throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, primarily within Tom’s design portfolio. By 2008, digital modeling and rendering tools made it possible to provide high-quality concept research and design to public and private customers – primarily in support of real-world high-budget technology development.
