Jacknife is a fictional variable geometry combat drone. Extreme variable geometry, conformal weapons launch tubes and conformal sensors provide instantaneous response to a range of threats.
I originally developed Jacknife as a medium-sized “loyal wingman” strike UCAV to complement and extend the capabilities of Killswitch or other strike fighters.
For Modern Warships, Artstorm found that scaling up this concept vehicle nicely fulfilled their requirement for a carrier-based large strike aircraft, akin to the Cold War era A-3 Skywarrior and A-5 Vigilante.
